My sister owns a handsome cat named Onyx, and over time, I developed an allergy while helping raise him. His long fur and saliva caused red eyes and itchy skin, making everyday interactions uncomfortable.
I tried allergy shots, but they were expensive and time intensive. Giving him up was never an option. The emotional bond we share is too strong.
